Hello! I have had a gas grill for years, and decided it was time for a smoker. I bought a weber 18.5" smokey mountain cooker! So the first go round didn't go so well - did you know it takes more than 6 hours of smoking for a pork roast to be falling off the bone? Well I do now! So a dumb question that should probably posted in one of the forums... When adding wood chunks, are they supposed to be soaked first? I ordered the book to help figure this out, but am too impatient to wait! I want to do more smoke'in!
