Hey all. I have only tried smoking once so far, got kinda frustrated, but had fun. I'm on here looking for tips and ideas, so please feel free to share some knowledge. I'm using a Brinkmans smoke 'n grill, very basic but was told it's also very simple. Look forward to practicing to become a good smoker.

First of all do not trust the theomonter you have on your smoker buy a digital themonter and check it out with the boliling water test if it test at 212 degrees your fine if not i adjust the temp. example test at 206 degrees add 6 degress to it so this tell me its at 212 degrees.
Use dry wood only I soak mine but thats up to you and depends on what you are smoking go by temp. not time
hope this helps you out.
