Hi,

My name is John and I live in upstate SC where if you are smoking its generally pig.  I have been a member several months now and this is my first post. I"ve been smoking awhile now on an old Char Griller but have been pretty much on my own, learning as I go. Sure am glad that I found this site. Now I can see what I've been doing wrong.

By the way Santa came early and dropped off a new Landmann 3895Gwla in my garage. Wife won"t let me touch it, had to wrap it up. Looking forward to learning from the experts.

Hi John,

First off welcome to SMF there John. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
