I just bought a traeger smoker and I am just starting to smoke on it. Looking for tips and tricks in making modifications and improving performance.

Would like to do a brisket soon. Any feedback would be great.

Welcome to the site!  Congrats on the smoker purchase.  The search bar can be your friend when looking for tips and mods.  There also may be a group with your model smoker.  I'm not familiar with your smoker, but I'm sure there are folks here that are.  I would suggest that your first smokes would be less expensive cuts...pork butts, ribs and chicken.  A butt is the most forgiving and will tolerate your learning how to handle your smoker.  Happy smoking.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a nice cool day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Sorry I am so late
