  1. Hey Everyone!  I'm new to smoking and have found the forums extremely helpful.  I have a small Masterbuilt smoker (thought it'd be best to start small).  I made my first pork picnic shoulder yesterday and it was fan-freaking-tastic! Looking forward to trying something new next week and utilizing all the great info folks are posting on the forums to guide me.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun smoking the pork shoulder!! I'm smoking some ribs today!
  3. Hey Jojo! Glad to hear the pork shoulder went well!  I just started two fatties.  One with Ham/Cheddar?onion and the second with pepperoin/pepper cheese.  Tell us some more about your shoulder, what kind of rub?  How long did it take?

    Glad it turned out well!
