hey ya'll! I am new to the forum and new to smoking. I was raised a city boy and never had anyone to teach me so I have to learn the hard way! OK, what I am really interested in, is taking the "junk" nobody likes and with the power of smoking make it great. I have two things I want to smoke; hog and eventually carp. Call me crazy, I know. I have already made some pulled pork a couple of times. Once good, the next time meh. Ok sorry for the long rant/intro, this is what I am looking for help with- wild hog snack sticks. I see most people use meat/venison and found just a little info on hog. Anyone try this? I know most people that do use pork also use some pork fat. But what about just using the deliciousness called bacon? Any help would be awesome! Thank you!
