I'm looking for a new smoker to make beef jerky. i will be using the new one to make more then jerky though. I have a Luhr Jensen little Chief which the chip pan is burnt through and is not insulated and unusable in Southern Cal in the winter. It looks like people are partial to Master built units on the forum. I found a Cajun Injector electric smoker. has anyone had experience with them? I am looking at the master built 30" unit with the glass door, probe and digital temp. It looks like for the money it is a excellent unit Also is there a place here that has the acronyms people use? Thanks!
