Newbie... Maybe, maybe not

  1. I've been to this site many times, but just never registered. Decided to do so today.

Looking forward to some lively idea exchanges. Work at a Cabela's, so I'm constantly tantalized by hundreds of outdoor cooking accessories!

Location: NW suburbs of Chicago. Residential neighborhood, but one yard away from an open, flat state park. Back yard patio can be very windy as a result of being next to that park.

Skill level: Not a novice, not an expert. Somewhere between intermediate and advanced maybe.

    Toys:

Smoke Canyon Charcoal Grill with Propane Assist - big box, can smoke on it

Masterbuilt 30" Digital Electric Smoker - still new in break-in stages

Very Old 22.5" Weber Silver, kinda falling apart

    Old Weber Smokey Joe
