Newbie... Maybe, maybe not

I've been to this site many times, but just never registered. Decided to do so today.

Looking forward to some lively idea exchanges. Work at a Cabela's, so I'm constantly tantalized by hundreds of outdoor cooking accessories!

Location: NW suburbs of Chicago. Residential neighborhood, but one yard away from an open, flat state park. Back yard patio can be very windy as a result of being next to that park.

Skill level: Not a novice, not an expert. Somewhere between intermediate and advanced maybe.

Masterbuilt 30" Digital Electric Smoker - still new in break-in stages

Very Old 22.5" Weber Silver, kinda falling apart

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
