What's up everyone! Name's Jay and I'm brand new to smoking. My ol' lady just bought me a Masterbuilt 40in Electric Smoker for Father's Day, and of course I have to use it! I've been reading a lot of smoking tips, and I'm going tos tart out small, with some pork chops smoked using apple and hickory chips. Any words of wisdom for the new guy would be well received! Glad to be here!

Hello , Shelbydave. Sounds to me you want to have some fun with the new toy.Be sure to have a reliable thermometer handy and ( when you get lucky and the Wife gets you an AMNPS to generate smoke)you'll be set to go.

Have fun with the Chops and send Q-view.
