I finally got a smoker for Father's Day this year and have already started breaking it in (ribs, brisket, and pork tenderloin thus far). I have found a lot of useful information from this site and decided I should probably join to better interact with the pros and get better results with my efforts. I'm looking forward to learning more and perfecting this craft, and most importantly consuming the delicious food! Thank you for providing this great resource!

Welcome to the addiction this site is full of great folks and information. You should check into Jeff's five day e course it is great.

Well if you've been lurking for awhile, you understand the search engines, the forums (I mean you came to the right place to start), you have no doubt seen some of the Guru's in action, and the great folks here. Normally I recommend you keep a notebook of your smokes much like a sniper's kill book, the good the bad, the ugly, why, and what you'll change the next time, but you've probably seen that too.

So you should know some of the Guru's will arrive here and help you with your indoctrination tour.

So, I will just say Hi, glad your here and if I can be of any help ( as I am sure everyone will tell you also), please just ask.

Welcome from New Braunfels, TX.

I lived in New Mexico for many years mostly in Albuquerque and a few years in Santa Fe. Loved the fly fishing on the San Juan River. I miss the Red or Green on my food.

This site has a ton of very good information. If you can't find it ask.

Enjoy your smoking experience.

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around here in SMF....just give me a shout.  Happy to help any time!
