Hi everyone! Merry Christmas! Just found this site and can't tell you how psyched I am. Was given a smoker awhile back and have been dying to try it out. When I got it, I had grand visions of perfectly smoked meats, cheeses and peppers dancing in my head. Still do, but it's gonna take a considerable amount of help from you good folks before I'm anywhere near competent. I'll take my questions to the main forum, but just wanted to say Hi.

Welcome to SMF- glad to have you with us - Be sure to check out Jeff's 5 day course for some basic infromation

Hi TasunkaWitko. Chinook? Gotta be cold today (it's maybe about 12 in the missoula area). My Dad lives up in Choteau, hopefully popping a brace of pheasants as we speak. Speaking of pheasant, what are the smoking possibilites?

Great to have another Montanan along with us! Haven't met a smoked pheasant yet I didn't like (haven't met any pheasant I didn't like). Merry Christmas!
