First time smoking tomorrow, been lurking here for awhile trying to get an idea for what I'm in for. Some great advice and great people here, at least it seems that way! I'll be using a Brinkmann All-in-One that my uncle gave me for free for a Boston butt tomorrow. Not the best smoker, but should do the trick.

I'll post pics at some point and thanks ahead of time for the help, I know i'll need it.

Turned out pretty well, had some issues with my wood chunks catching fire and bringing the heat way up. Took about 13 hours total with a 3 hour stall, didn't wrap it, I like a nice bark.
I'll be doing it again shortly. Kroger has them for sale for $1.99 right now so might be trying again this weekend.

Welcome to the site YJ.  Looks like a successful butt smoke to me.  Good deal on the free smoker.

Welcome aboard, I had a Brinkman charcoal, and a gas burner also many years ago and I found that by wraping the wood chunks in foil and punch a few holes in the top of the foil I would get great smoke and no flare up's. I had great smokes this way.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and cool day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
