Hey guys (and gals), I'm Jeremy, and I'm about an hour south of Chicago. I am totally new to smoking, but very experienced in enjoying smoked meats :)   I found this forum about a year ago when I started casually researching smokers, and the other day my dad and began talking about it again and wound up with a Masterbuilt electric smoker before we realized it. So I am here to learn what I can and share what I can. I have a good amount of experience/confidence in the kitchen and on the grill, so I am used to (at least trying to) selecting the best meats, ingredients, etc, as well as most culinary basics. Basically what I'm trying to say, is that this ain't my first rodeo at whipping up deliciousness, but its a method of cooking, and cuts of meat, that are totally new to me. I am crazy excited to learn and soak up any knowledge I can. Hopefully in a few seasons I'll be able to throw some sound advice at future newbies.
