hello all, Don here from Murillo Ontario, Canada......new to the smoking scene. I am awaiting my purchase of a Masterbuilt GS 40 Propane Smoker in the mail and cant wait to try it out. I also ordered a Maverick et 733 thermometer, from all I have been reading thermometer is a must for the newb smoker. Looking forward to soaking up as much as I can from all the 'Pros' here. Cheers.........

Hello Don and welcome to the awesome world of smoke. Take it slow and never forget that you will have mistakes, but learn from them and don't get upset. As smoking as a fine art that like most things takes time to perfect. Biggest thing I can say is never forget that smoke is a flavor and it's better to under smoke than over smoke.

Good luck and enjoy the smoke,

Dave
