Newbie from VA with quick question

Been lurking for a while without introducing myself. I'm new to smoking and recently purchased a Brinkman gas smoker from Home Depot. So far I've smoked some fish (salmon and whiting), a small brisket and a small pork picnic. Mostly everything has been OK but... well I have lots to learn.
Tomorrow I'm doing a Pork Butt to pull. Tonight I've rubbed it down with "Meathead's Magic Dust" and also injected it with some Apple Juice with a little garlic in it. Wrapped it up and put it in the fridge till I get up at about 4:00 AM to start the smoke. That’s about when my dear wife said, “are you sure you can inject it this early?” I got this deer in the headlight look and said “yeah sure” while thinking in my head “I haven’t got a clue”.
Obviously I can’t take the injection out, did I screw up or is this going to be OK?

You are fine. I inject all mine the night before. Welcome to SMF! LOL

You'll be fine! Apple juice goes very good with ribs, I and garlic is good on anything! Be sure and share some Q-View with us tomorrow.

Yep you will be fine. I inject my butts the night before and then also inject a little more right before the smoke as well sometimes. Either way you will be fine.

First off welcome Gordon to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done.
