Got a Master Built 20050611 as a gift for my birthday last week - very new to this.  Have been messing with BBQ for a while now, but smoking my own is an exciting idea.  Love the site so far!

WELCOME! This from a former Syracusan. I left there in 1988 and can say

I don't miss the unforgiving winters.

Indeed, you will come to love this place. Lots of help, hope and support...James

Welcome to our SMF family!  Like many, I too hail from NY - Adams Center, just like Craig.  Dad owned a meat market there.  Have since moved to Fort Worth, Tx.  We are all here to help, but there is a responsibility you must bear:  we don't know if you don't ask!  The only wrong question is the one you don't ask, so please feel free to ask about anything you don't know!  And, we love QView - pics of your Q (as in BBQ) - makes us drool, and boy, do we love to drool!  Enjoy, have fun, participate and eat hearty!
