hi all ive noticed a few uk posters but smoking is not commen here

found this forum while looking for design ideas for my brick BBQ grill and smoker

ill post my sketches of my design ideas in a few days once i've got it settled in my head but i wont be building it for atleast a year

i recently built a 3mx5m (9ftx18ft) log cabin in the garden (as a home office) and am currently building a 3.5mx5m (10ftx18ft) veranda on the front. my plan is to build the bbq adjacent to one of the short edges of the veranda for all weather bbq.  (the long term plan is to make polycarbonate panels fill the sides in in the winter

Thanks

Welcome Dave. I had a home office once, then Ma Dutch turned it into a Nursery and playroom for when the grandbabies came to visit and then she turned it into her sewing room.

Looking forward to your design ideas. We have a bunch of fellows on here that do that sort of work and hopefully they'll giving you some pointers and ideas.

Enjoy the Smoke!
