Newbie from Southern Ontario

Hey – My name is Jamie – I live in Campbellford – a small town in southern Ontario Cananda.  I didn’t realize how new of a newbie I was till I found this site.  Soooo much to learn – OMG where do I start???  I’ve been smoking for a couple years now – but mainly got into it to make venison pepperettes (I guess you guys call em  snack sticks) – and maybe the odd maple glazed smoked salmon.  Mostly just wingin it.  I am using a Masterbuilt electric smoker – seems to do the job.  Which is how I ended up here – shopping and researching what I want for my next smoker – and stumbled upon SMF!!! Like its meant to be ;)

First off welcome to SMF there Jamie. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
