Hello all, name is Brandon.  Long time griller, newbie smoker.  I just picked up a Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel Smoker.  Hoping to learn a thing or two from all you experienced smoking vets.

We're glad to have you here. The search bar at the top is your best friend. This forum has been around for over ten years, so there is a good chance that any questions you may have, have already been answered (they may have 10 different answers, but you'll get an instant response non the less).

Us California guys can get tons of great advice here. When I moved furniture for a living I spent a lot of time in southern cal. I was born in Pasadena and now live in Oakland. Welcome. Happy smokin!
