OK Guys....Newbie Here so please be gentile. I have been cooking and qing for more than 35 years but have never "really" smoked meat. I have tried the smoking box in the BBQ with limited success but am looking for a more refined approach and better result. I look forward to sharing my successes and failures with you.

Thanks guys.....Feels like I am right at home. Have been perusing the forums all day long, didn't get squat done at work, and have learned a ton. I am looking at getting a GOSM but am looking at all of the other alternatives.

This seems like the best thing to do while I brew beer!!!!

Homebrew you say. Smoking meat in the back yard. Sounds like you found heaven. Welcome. Get the smoke rolling and make the neighbors jealous.
