Newbie from San Jose

Hey everyone,

I'm Brian from San Jose, CA. I'm a pretty good cook but novice smoker. I wasn't happy with the results from my bullet water smoker so I decided to build a cinder block smoker. I'm hoping to use the fire box side as a poor man's pizza oven too. 

I put up an album if you're interested in checking it out. So far I've just done a test fire and a single rack of baby backs. I'm going to hold off on trying anything hard like brisket until I really understand how to regulate the heat in that thing.

Anyway, looking forward to connecting with my fellow bbq enthusiasts!
