Newbie from Ocean County NJ

  1. Good day all. Been visiting this site 5 or so times a month. Going to try my hand at smoking a small Turkey this Thanksgiving. (Also doing one in the Oven just in case I mess up the smoked one.) Thought that I would officially join the forum today in prep for Thanksgiving.

    Welcome aboard. Lots great people here to help you with your turkey if you need it, and tons of great pics and recipes on turkeys under the poultry section. Also, be sure to check out the section on the home page under Turkey. Great info on how to brine a bird.

    Here's a link to photobucket it's free and easy to download pictures. Then if your really new to smoking Look up the E-course.

    It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

    When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...
