New smoker from Springdale, Arkansas - just cooking for the family when we have a few hours to enjoy it. I've got the 40" Masterbuilt digital electric w/glass door. A lot of weekends are full with travel baseball. A few tournaments around Kansas City and Oklahoma Joe's has left me with a tough standard to measure up to, but I'm gonna give it a shot. Appreciate all the help in advance!!!

coffeemac,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it then smoked it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.

Always remember the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask!!
Keep Smokin!!!

Hi coffeemac and welcome from NE Oklahoma! I'm actually not too far west of you...in fact one of my sons lives in Fayetteville and works in Tontitown for PAM Trucking.

Most of us around here humbly believe we can turn out better BBQ than you can get in restaurants...yes, even good ones like Okla. Joe's. You've found a good source of information to learn how to do just that! You'll be making such good 'que before you know it that most BBQ joints won't measure up to yours anymore!

Have fun searching and reading the forums...and just ask when you can't find what you need...someone here will surely be able to help.
