New to the smoking/BBQ forum.   I've been "playing around" with smoking for a number of years. I picked up a MasterBuilt  Extra Large propane smoker last year and have been doing ribs, roasts and fish.   Huge learning curve and lovin the hell out of every minute of it.   Started off with "Sorry man, I can't eat that. It tastes like chewy dirt wrapped in charred skunk anus"..........and have worked up  to my last cook which was a huge 25 person success.

Just bought the Smoke Hollow 4-in-1 Monster yesterday and I'm thinking that this baby is gonna launch me right into a brand new addiction. I cannot wait to try the side wood burning box.   SLOW n LOW.   Gonna put my latest rub to the test on what I consider to be the "Holy Grail" of the BBQ world..........the brisket.   Have yet to try one.               I suspect I'll be "Borrowing" advice and ideas from the forum on a pretty regular basis.........so........thanks in advance!

Sounds like you're on the right track.  I've eaten a lot of my mistakes over the years but you catch on eventually and before long it gets easier and easier to get your buddies to come over for a Q.

Welcome..do sound like you are firing on all 8 cylinders..or however many they put in cars these days. Having fun..which is the object of the game..seems to be on the agenda. Condolences on the early endeavors. I actually never did come up with anything the neighbors dogs refused to eat. Some of us has been fortunate. Let us strive not to be no steeken strangers around here.

Welcome from BC.
