Greetings all,

I'm new here, and this is my first post.  I have been Qing for a 5 or 6 years now, and my tools of the trade so far are a LG and XL BGE. These are great cookers. I like to grill steaks, chicken, and smoke ribs, brisket and Boston butts.  I do have another smoker on the way because of supply and demand (mostly demand!).  I have a vertical cabinate smoker on order, and it's equipped with 4  24 X 27 racks and weighs about 800 lbs.  It's a beast!

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

Hello Mike and welcome!  Glad you've joined the group.  This is a great and friendly forum for sharing ideas on all things smoked.  Your new cabinet rig sounds interesting...I hope you'll post some pics of it when it comes.  Have fun around here, and just ask if there's ever anything you need...someone here will surely have the answer.

Right back at ya Gary!  I hope the weather down your way is allowing you to get outside and cook.  Not so much up here in Northern VA.  Expecting a few more inches of new snow overnight.

Now, an official hater of winter!

Hi Red,  Will do!  This vertical is a whole new animal for me, and I'm going to have a bit of learning curve when it gets here.
