I'm failry new to smoking meat. I started out on a Weber kettle. I have sicne moved up to a GOSM. I bought it last spring. have smoked a few things most has turned out pretty good. I have yet to get the pork butt figured out yet. I have done 2 the 1st was a bone in and the 2nd was a boneless the boneless turned out much better than the bone in. I have learned from reading thru the threads on this website it is all about temp and not amount of time. I have to invest in a good digital probe. I had one before that I used in the kitchen and hated it. I will try it agian. I really enjoy smoking meat. I am an avid outdoors person. Been hunting and fishing since I was about 5yr old. fishing even before that.
