Hey everyone, glad to find this site, it's an excellent resource for getting into smoking. I recently (1 week ago) purchased the 36" propane smoker from Lowe's and I gotta say I love it already. After following the directions for "seasoning" the smoker, my first attempt was about 10lbs of chicken wings rubbed w/ Emeri's original essence seasoning cut w/ brown sugar. Kinda guessed on the time, but the wings came out fantastic. So much so my two neighbors ate them all. Next day I smoked a 13lb turkey, brined from a recipie I found on the net, also came out well. Finally, this past Sunday (20th) I smoked 3 racks of baby backs and a 5lb brisket. The ribs were out of this world, the brisket imo was ok, nothing fantastic, but the party loved it. I gotta say I'm hooked already...Setting plans for another smoke this weekend for myself and the neighbors. Anyhow, just checking in, glad I found you guys and will definitely be using this site a lot.

Jumpin' in with both feet! And bringing Q to the East Coast (north of the M-D Line)! OH YEAH!

Sounds like a feast, but the mantra is "No Q-view? It didn't happen." Welcome!
