Newbie from Michigan

Hello, my name is Phil and I'm from West Michigan.  I've been lurking around this site for a few months, trying to soak up as much info as my little brain can handle.  I'm just about ready to start my first smoker build ever and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need all the help I can get. I've been grinding and welding metal for 15 years, so I should be good with the fab part of the build, I'm just not to sure with the firebox/ rf plate/ chimney part of the build. So here's your fair warning, I'll be askin lots of questions in the future.

First off welcome to SMF there Phill. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
