I'm Eric from Idaho, been lurking on these forums for a while after deciding I was going to build a smoker.  I got to that decision after starting an electric beer brewing build - I figured I could double use the same controller for a smoker.  I more recently decided to build a dedicated smoker controller instead.  I'm new to smoking, I did a little a long time ago using a little chief smoker - this time I wanted to go bigger.  Looking forward to doing more research and getting more ideas from you all, as well as sharing mine.

Updated my location and signed up for the 5 day E-Course.  I also bought 2 copies of his book - it has excellent reviews on Amazon, my brother just started smoking as well and figured it would be a good birthday gift for him - and I'll of course keep the second one.  Thx!
