I am in the just learning stage, I am using a Char-Griller Pro, with all of the modifications to go slow and low. I will be attempting a Boston Butt tomorrow. I am pumped and ready to do it. Any last minute tips would be great. I will post pics along the way...Glad to be apart of the forum.

Welcome to SMF! Lots of tips on that puppy in the Charcoal smoker forum. Seems to be a pretty solid unit when babied up right.

Enjoy! And don't forget to rub yer butt! ;{)

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info here. Use the search tab at the top if you're looking for something specific. You can also look in recent threads. I'm doing my first butt today and these guys got me all the info I needed. There is a sticky on Meowy's method in the pork section. Pretty much all you need to know to have a nice butt smoke. Welcome Neighbor!
I'm just up the road from you in Seagrove Beach (about half way between Destin and PC). Good luck on the butt tomorrow and don't forget to use the finishing sauce ..... it's a sticky in the sauce section. It really makes that butt outstanding. And don't forget to let us know how it turns out.
