Hello, my name is Clayton, and I'm from Kennesaw, Ga. I've been grilling for the past few years, but my girlfriend just got me a smoker for my graduation present. I'm curing it now, and hope to start out with some ribs this week. I'm excited to look around a learn some new things because I don't really know what I'm doing yet as far as smoking is concern. Here's a picture of my new toy:

Congrats on the new smoker man hope you enjoy it. Not to far from you I live in Marietta.

Welcome to SMF Clayton. If you are going to continue to smoke in your living room, you should turn the smoker away from the wall to get more ventilation.

First off welcome Clayton to SMF. The first thing that I would like to teach you is that smoking inside is not a good idea. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.
