Hello,

I'm Sharon from NE PA and have a new Masterbuilt Cookmaster smoker. I'm super excited to use it (using it now actually).

Thanks in advance for any tips and tricks of the trade so to speak!

Welcome Sharon, glad ya joined us ! Sounds like a great smoker ya have there ! Need any help, just ask & we'll help ya out ! Great folks on this forum that are second to none !

Thanks!

I posted another thread, as I don't think my temp gauge is working right...  :-/  Pork is cooking up nice, but I cannot confirm the temp. And of course, I don't own a meat thermometer either. I have already emailed Masterbuilt and will see what they say!

Thanks!

I personally don't own a Masterbuilt unit, but from those that do it's been a hands down kinda no debate that them temp gauges on the unit themselves do not work correctly ! Most folks, myself included have bought a dual probe temp therm... Check out the Maverick ET-732... it's a dual probe... One probe for meat IT & one probe for smoker temp....

Hello Sharon, glad you joined the group  post some pictures of your smoke, have any questions just ask.
