Hello all, new to the smoking world here to learn! I live in Oklahoma and just got a char coaler given to me from a boss at work. I like cooking on it but would really like to build my own custom smoker. I know I can get my hands on the material and have a father in law who has the tools to help me complete it. I have some 20" bare oilfield pipe for my cooker not sure if I want a square firebox or use some smaller diameter pipe. Anyways that's where I'm at guess I should move this to the build section now.... Looking forward to everyones input!

Hello and welcome to the site. Building you own smoker is as much fun as smoking on it. Look through the Smoking Supplies and Equipment Forums and look at a some of the builds.
