Newbe from Virginia

I am new to the forum. I found you guys while searching on tips to use my new smoker. my first smoker was a Brinkmann Smoke'N Grill. it worked OK but was very limited. Since I love to cook pulled pork and ribs I neede to make a move up. so now I own a Landmann Black Dog 42. no mods yet. I am still learning. I know next to nothing about smoking except that I have done quite a few pork butts with my old Brinkmann with some good results. any advice will be taken to heart.,

Pierces is OK. I guess most locals like Beach Bully but nothing is a good as most small (home made) joints.

Agree on this. There were not that many of these little joints there IIRC.

Beach Bully did 'grow up' out of a being a small place as I went to that location (just south of Laskin Rd / Baltic Ave I think) before they built the new place. (others told me it had been around quite a while)

But now that you make your own that is pretty much as good or better, why bother?
