Hey y'all. Got a complete newb out here in Eastern Washington State. Looking forward to using some of the plethora of apple wood that is around though.

I threw on my first attempt ever today onto my new charcoal Brinkman kit from Lowe's. Using hickory over lump. I posted over on the pork section about it. Also using some home made Foreign Extra Stout in the drip pan.

I have been making my own beer for about 14 years. And in the last few years have made some damn fine fruit wines too.

Looking forward to reading and learning.

Cheers,

Jjones
