Hello all

After soooooo many good meals, and trying as many BBQ joints as I can find, I finally decided it's time for me to try my hand at some home cooked bbq.

Found this site, looked around, and decided I just had to join, and learn/participate!

Greg (aka Regor )

Oh, and we like lots of pictures, referred to as "Q-View".

That's a great idea except for one small problem....

Once you start making your own great "Q" - you'll never go back to those BBQ places again...

Where in San Diego are you? I used to live in a condo just off Market street... haven't been back there in about 10 years. I used to go to KC BBQ accross from the Hyatt. They had some good Q and a better bar. That was the only place I've ever been in my life - and I've been around the world - that actually served Nighttrain wine.

Anyway, welcome aboard! You'll definitely find good info here - I know I do.

Thanks ALL for the warm welcome.

I live in the South Bay - Chula Vista. Not sure about KC BBQ, never been over there, may have to be a future destination for me one of these weekends.

Probably the BEST Q I have ever had came from Big Bear, Ca, about 3 weeks ago - B's Backyard BBQ

This was the place that made me say "I gotta get more serious about my own smoking" :)
