Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and cold day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome to the forum, railroad. Glad to have you aboard. Get that smoker seasoned and start smoking. A suggestion for a first tool to get for that cooker is a maverick et series remote therm to verify cook and meat temps. Sometimes the mes are not the most accurate readouts and the mav will give you good info. A suggested first cook is to do a pork butt. Very forgiving. And you can slice, pull, use for sandwiches, etc. Hard to screw it up and will take all types of rubs and smoke. Use the search function here and you'll find answers to just about any question. All the best to you.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
