First time I've done ribs in my stick burner and they're the best I've done yet, as it seems all my cooks have been with strait wood, almost seems like a more subtle smoke flavor, compared to side smoker I used for years. And so much easier with PID fan controller! I used 3-1-1.5. Still had a bit of pull off the bone.

One sweet, one spicy

And my homebuilt smoker

Your smoker is an interesting setup. But it looks like it gets the job done.
Nice smoke Thumbs Up

Ya, my neighbor built it years back, he replaced it with an aluminum one he built. Thinking about naming it Frankensmoke. It weighs a ton, holds heat great and rarely gets off more than +-5 degrees until I open the hood.
