Hi there. I'm from Meridian, Idaho and I love to smoke meats and cheeses. Currently using a Masterbuilt Gas 2 door vertical smokehouse with some alterations. I was having a few problems when I got it and my wife found your forum to help me. I finally got some time off to check this out. I really like your site and looking forward to checking it all out.

Thanks--Murf

Welcome Murf

There is a wealth of experience from around the world for all types of smoking. Just ask and you will get several helpful replies. Remember though that people develop their own styles and techniques and so not all opinions will totally agree. There is no "right" way to smoke but there are certainly wrong ways. The guys here will help steer you in the right direction, to gain your own confidence and find out what works best for you.

Hey Murf,  Just ask as many questions as you need to
