I am new to the site and fairly new to smoking. I have been using an electric Brinkman for 2 or 3 years but for some unknow reason i have only done pork butts (several) and a couple of loins on it. The metal on the Brinkman has burned through and some areas rusted out so i have been dropping hints about a new smoker. This year my lovely wife and daughters surprised me with a Masterbuilt electric for Christmas. Now i am anxious to get started on some ribs, chicken and brisket. I have already learned a great deal from this site and look forard to learning more. After reading Pignit's posts i can also see a mobile cart in my new smokers future and building an indoor area in the garage since the winter in Southern Illinois is starting to get cold.
