New to The smoking world

Hello Guy's I am very pleased to have found a forum like this. I am just learning how to smoke I have one under my belt so far. I smoked some ribs last week and they seemed to have turned out real good. I have a Brinkman Smoken pit smoker. It has a side fire box. I was thinking this is all I would need for my self. If any one has any tips feel free to let me know.Like I said am just learning and need all the tips I can get.Thanks Guy's Bill

welcome to SMF Bill-glad u found us-I don't use your smoker but I think theres some mods u can make on it-with ribs look into the 3-2-1 or for baby backs 2-2-1 method.theres alot of info in here and won't take u long to get hooked.

Welcome to the forum Bill, glad you found us here at SMF. DO lots of reading, many ideas for future smokes, and methods. Just because you may have a different smoker brand than others doesn't mean you should limit yourself, experiment, and adapt, in time you will be getting proficient at doing that if you become more familiar with your equipment.
