Hey, just got the brinkmann cimarron smoker all unloaded and in my garage. I am going to start in on getting it ready to go tomrrow. just wanted to say hi and if anyone had any helpful tips, id appreciate it a lot!

got the cimarron for 365 dollars brand new too, can't wait to get some venison on it.

Good luck with the smoking. I've got the Smoke'N Pit Pitmaster Deluxe. The Cimarron looks like a much better version of my smoker and I think the Pitmaster is pretty good so you should have a fantastic smoker there. After you run it for a while, if it has some of the similar issues that the pitmaster has you may want to make the mod's I did.

Hey, i dont think i will have any problems like in that thread, there fire box goes straight to main pit, and the smoke stack is on the other end. What should i do to get it ready to use? any suggestions? clean and oil it or something.
