  1. Hi my name is John and my wife recently bought me the pro series smoke hollow 4 in 1 grill. Love it and hope to refine my skills as I'm used to using a inexpensive gas grill and ccould only get a slight hint of smoke flavor to my food.I am very excited to have found this site as I have watched days worth of videos on u tube. It seems I have found the right place to start my journey. Thanks in advance for any and all info I receive. :grilling_smilie: ( wife bought me this with some of her winnings at the casino so I gatta cook her some outstanding food ) thank you dear and I love you.

  2. Hello John and welcome to the fun.  Might otta hang on to that gal, sounds like a good one.  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  The trial and error method works well.  We will try to help you keep the errors to a minimum since we already made them for you.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

[IMG]  to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around here in SMF....just give me a shout.  Happy to help any time!

  7. Well I wrote a nice thanks to all of you for the welcomes, but hit the wrong button and it went by by. Feel like part of the "smoking meat clan" already. I will be posting Q-VIEWS a lot as soon as I make some much needed mods to my unit. Danny you are spot on as i've been with her since I was 13 some 30 YRS ago, she is to me what some never find " my soul mate" . Enough mush, let me show you my first smoke with out the mods.[IMG]

  8. Hope I didn't break rule 11 was just trying to show the relief of finding this site after watching days of some pretty confusing videos and losing hope of fiinding any good site to actually get correspondence to my unrefined skills.
