Hello everyone. I'm new to the group. Been reading the forum for several hours today, and figured I may as well join. My name is Tyler Kennedy, I'm 28 and I live in Indianola Nebraska. (Southwest Nebraska) As far as skill level is concerned I'm mainly a hobby smoker that's never made any money however I've cooked for several parties/gatherings ranging from 10-60 people or so. You'll probably see me popping up in the forums in the next month or two because my brother and I just acquired a 250 gallon propane tank and we will be building a trailer mounted reverse flow smoker. I cant wait to cook for the next party with a REAL smoker and not my small Masterbuilt electric smoker. Looking forward to learning from all the old pros in here.

Lol Where are you located? I'm pretty sure our town got it's name from a young indian girl that was killed in a battle close to here. However I know there are several other Indianolas around the country.

Thanks Joe. I don't know how it took me this long to stumble onto this site. I'm in several facebook pages but after everything I've read on here today, this site seems to be 10 steps ahead of any Facebook page. Nothing against them because there is a lot of useful information out there but I could read for a week on this page about building a smoker and still not get through it all. Can't wait to share pictures/recipes/techniques/ect.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
David
