Hey there everyone!! I'm new to the forum, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm from Georgetown, TX., just north of Austin, and have been smoking meats for years, but am always looking to improve my skills and the taste of the meat. Currently I have a small offset smoker that I purchased from Academy, it's very stout, just a little small, but perfect for my back yard. When I move to my larger place, then I will hopefully get a larger pit, one with maybe a 8' smoker. I'm hoping to learn to make my own rub for brisket and ribs, if I get one I like, that'll make me happy:)
