new to the forum

    just want to say hi to everyone,i'm up in northeast pa.,I've been doing a little smoking when i get time with a barrel smoker,got a new electric from santa, got it seasoned and ready to go,just waiting for little nicer weather.hope i can be helpful on this forum but i still need to learn quite a bit. thanks

    Hey Jim...welcome to the forums!  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of good people here who know their stuff and genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input around here, and just ask when you need anything...someone will surely have the answer.

    thanks red, i'm sure i will enjoy it especially once the nicer weather gets here, i have been reading some of the post and you're right about people being helpful.I posted a question this morning and with in minutes i had some answers. thanks again

    thanks, i've been learning quite abit just reading the threads,i'm sure i will have questions down the road,although i know quite abit about meats, i haven't gotten to involved with smoking and curing parts of it. thanks again
