Royal Oaks Ca.
Hello from Monterey Bay California,

My name is Dave and I am a recently retired UPS big rig driver. I have been grilling for over 40 years now and started Qing about 15 years ago. I live on a little over an acre of property covered with Oak trees so have plenty of BBQ wood to use.

I have an Oklahoma Joe Longhorn, a Santa Maria grill, and just got a traeger  Lil'Tex elite. I am sure having a good time with the Traeger (although it doesn't produce the same flavor as the Ok Joe) it is as easy as using the oven in the kitchen.

I don't know why it took me this long to find this forum but glad I did, it is so full of great info. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hello Dave, and welcome!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your contributions here on the forums.
