Hello all,

My name is Bob and I'm new to the Forum from about an hour and a half south of St. Louis.

I do industrial maintenance for a living because fishing just doesn't pay the bills.

I'm new to the forum but not to smoking/grilling.

Currently I own a couple of Webers, an offset smoker/grill, and after much research, recently bought a Rec-Tec pellet grill. ( I freakin love that thing!!)   I'm definitely going to punch a hole in it and mount a cold smoke generator in the near future, and I'll also be adding a retractable leg on the bottom of the hopper for added stability on the (sloped) garage floor.

Maybe I worry too much, but 40lbs of pellets in addition to the weight of the hopper itself hanging off the back makes me nervous, especially when lifting the lid.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot here. Thanks for having me!
