Hi,

I am Jon. I am from Illinois. I began smoking about 12 years ago. In the beginning I was smoking some ham and turkey for Thanksgiving. I then began smoking pork shoulders for pulled pork and also ribs. I was using a wood smoker. I got tired of fighting to keep the temperature up during our cold weather. I bought a 6 rack electric Bradley smoker 2 years ago. It has the electronic controls/timer. I find myself using it much more now and enjoying smoking more. I am wanting to expand into making my own summer sausage and jerky.

I look forward to learning from everyone and looking at some good recipes.

Thanks,

Jon

Welcome Jon! Glad you joined our group. You'll like it here...it's the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc. Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will likely have the answer.

Welcome from Canada, Jon.

I only started smoking last year and I bought a Bradley. It will be good to have an experienced smoker on the Bradley on the forums. I look forward to your posts.
