Hey there tellers and gals. In from way up north (ya know canada) haha. Anyways found this forum. May as as well start strong and post a basic recipe I use.

Light color Soy (a secret I use is magii), brown sugar, garlic , Onions, paprika, worcheshire, olive oil, water, salt pepper, chilli powder, paprika, and dried hot pepper.

Pretty basic recipe but my goto.

I have a I would call cold smoker, get to about 140 in summer and smoke for around 10 - 12 hours.

Id love to hear some more recipes and different ideas and methods for all you jerky loving maniacs . Between my pet polar bear, shooting hockey and drinking beer I make jerky rofl.

Anyways glad to say hi and look forward to perfecting the trade!

Ugbar, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and loving jerky.  I'm new to the jerky game myself, having only used my oven.  Time to take what I've learned there and move it to the smoker.

Interesting recipe.

Have fun!
